11/3 retro and planning
Two long lessons in Spanish this week that went well. It meant postponing two days of math, but that is the nice thing about homeschooling -- you can focus on what feels important in the moment.
Areas for improvement:
We still haven't gotten back on schedule with our poem memorization. We are behind on correspondence, mostly because we can't find our envelopes in all of the unpacking mess. We still haven't made it to our new library.
Action Items:
- Hear Audrey read to us daily
- Go to the library by Friday morning
- Pick a new poem on Monday night at dinner
- Look into switching to the human body for science next week. Audrey is really interested in it, so we are thinking of postponing the second half of biology (animal studies) until after human body.
